About Fat to Glam

Fashion that celebrates rather than apologises

Why We Exist

Fat to Glam started because the fashion industry kept telling certain people they weren't ready for style. Too big for the trendy brands. Too "in between" for the plus-size lines. Always one diet away from deserving to look good.

We thought that was ridiculous. Looking and feeling great in your clothes has nothing to do with your dress size and everything to do with understanding your body, knowing what works, and having the confidence to wear it with conviction.

So we built a styling service that meets people where they are. No "goal weight" required. No before-and-after body shaming. Just practical, personalised fashion guidance for the body you're living in today.

Our Approach

We combine practical styling expertise with a mindset-first approach. Here's what makes us different:

Principle

Fit Over Size

We never look at tag numbers. We focus on how fabric drapes, where seams sit, and how the overall silhouette makes you feel. A size 8 that pulls is worse than a size 14 that flows.

Principle

Colour is for Everyone

Black is not the only option. We find the tones that light up your face, complement your skin, and give you that "where did you get that?" energy.

Principle

Mindset Matters

If you feel uncomfortable in bold choices, the clothes won't save you. We work on the internal dialogue alongside the external styling so both match.

Who We Work With

Our clients range from size 12 to size 32 and beyond. Some are rebuilding their wardrobe after a life change: pregnancy, weight gain, new career, divorce. Others have always struggled with style and are finally ready to invest in figuring it out. A few just want someone honest to go shopping with.

Whatever brings you here, the common thread is this: you're done dressing apologetically and ready to dress intentionally. We're here for exactly that moment.

"I never thought someone could make shopping fun for me. After 20 years of avoiding changing rooms, I now actually look forward to putting outfits together."
